American Airlines Pilots Union Gets Picketed

Dripping with irony, this story is likely to get some chuckles over at American Airlines Corporate Headquarters.
Last week it was the pilots who picketed AA mangement as they fight for higher wages. Today the union’s administrative workers (who have their own union) will picket the pilots union leadership outside union headquarters. They claim they’ve been working without a contract for nearly 300 days.
Incidently, the pilots have asked management for a 40% raise. The adminsitrative staff at the union claims their own salaries have increased just 3.6% over the past five years.

Will the pilots cross the picket line??????
Also, doesn’t the pilot group understand how ridiculous they looked picketing AA’s customers? It was like standing on a street corner screaming that your mother is a slut. It may be true, but people are going to look at you like you’re an idiot anyway…
Just my view……

You’er right lots of lunch time chuckles are AA HDQ today. With administrave recognition day this Wednesday, I wonder how that is going to be handled at the APA offices?
